The clubhouse, designed by the noted architectural firm of Thomas and Denzinger of Charleston and Beaufort, S.C., was crafted in an unpretentious Lowcountry cottage style that blends harmoniously with its surroundings. The men’s and ladies locker rooms, and fully stocked pro shop, create a relaxed atmosphere through the use of wood finishes and ample natural light. Dining in Chechessee’s cozy restaurant is an exercise in pure culinary enjoyment.
